  • This research aimed to study the Bangkok population aged 18e59 years in terms of their attitude toward the elderly and social interaction. The survey data of the lifestyle and values of the respondents were analyzed using two-step cluster analysis. The 1,020 respondents were classified into seven main clusters and 16 sub-groups based on their lifestyle and values. Attitude toward the elderly and the social interaction of individual sub-groups were also analyzed. Policies for improving attitude toward the elderly and social interaction enhancement for each sub-group were suggested to promote a harmonious intergenerational society. © 2017 Kasetsart University.
