This study aims to compare the way of life of Family Institution between Phaya Anuman Rajadhon’s literary works and contemporary novels. The aim is to study the elative system in the family, which affect the socialization, the value system and belief system. There are 9 books, the literaries used for the study, belong to Phaya Anuman Rajadhon’s works and 223 novels were printed for selling between 1969-1987. This research would analyse the substance from the literary theories and sociology, anthropology and psychology concepts. Then inform the result by analysed descrition. The results of this study are divided in 3 series; the first one, analyse the literaries of Phaya Anuman Rajadhon’s works, finding out that the Institution affect the socialization, the value system and the beliefs in 12 points. The second one, analyse the contemporary novels, showing that all of the novels has substance, reflecting the relative of the family, along with warmth or broken and have many problems affect the socialization, the value and the belief. The third one, analyse an compare between Phaya Anuman Rajadhon’s literary works and contemporary novels. The results show that the sort of the family characteristic, the socialization of the family function, value system and belief system, which occurred in Phaya Anuman Rajadhon’s literary works and contemporary novels are similar to the other, they are not different from each other. We can say that the relation the relation does not change socialization, value system and belief system in the family institution from Phaya Anuman Rajadhon’s literary works and contemporary novels. The suggestions from this research are (1) to study in Phaya Anuman Rajadhon’s literary works by intending to study another institutions, for example; economy, political, education together with comparing the feature article literary. (2) to study in Phaya Anuman Rajadhon’s literary works by comparing with the notebooks of the foreigners and the ancient Thai people.
