  • Total of 587 calvings recorded over a period of 25 years for buffaloes of Livestock Farm, Adhartal, Krishi Nagar, Jabalpur (M.P.) India, were utilized in the present study. Month, season, year of calving, lactation number and sires had non-significant influeces on sex ratio. However, certain sires produced higher numbers of female calves.
